The Fabric

Composed of 80% Japanese cotton and 20% polyester, the fabric is selected for balance between softness and structure, comfort and longevity.

The cotton is woven in Japan, where textile precision is treated as craft. Japanese-milled cotton is known for its refined weave, controlled fibre tension and smooth hand feel. The result is a fabric that feels breathable and composed against the skin, with a natural drape that falls cleanly without stiffness.

The addition of polyester strengthens the weave. It improves durability, enhances shape retention and reduces excessive creasing, allowing the thobe to maintain its silhouette throughout the day without feeling rigid.

This balance ensures the garment remains comfortable in warmer climates while retaining a sharp, structured presence.
