The Fabric
Crafted from a high-quality Japanese-woven polyester, the fabric was selected for its smooth handle, refined structure and ability to maintain a clean silhouette throughout the day.
Not all polyester fabrics are the same. Lower-grade polyester can feel thin, shiny or overly synthetic. This fabric has been chosen for a more composed finish, with a smoother surface, better weight and a cleaner drape.
The result is a thobe that feels comfortable against the skin while holding its shape well. It resists excessive creasing, keeps a sharper appearance for longer and gives the garment structure without making it feel stiff or heavy.
For a thobe, this matters. The fabric needs to fall cleanly, move naturally and keep its form through regular wear. This Japanese-woven polyester was chosen because it offers that balance: smoothness, durability, structure and ease of care.
